TITLE FRAUD - Detailed Information

Are You A Victim of Car Fraud?
The Truth is Hidden in the Document!
Is it Counterfeit or Altered?
Shouldn't You Know Before It Costs Your Integrity or Business?

A fraud involving a vehicle cannot be completed or legitimized without the use of Counterfeit or Altered Title Documents. ONLY through training we can begin to make an impact to curtail this economic crime.

Documents Counterfeit or Altered?
Do you know for sure?

In 1986, Congress passed into law the Truth & Mileage Act. The law required that Title Documents have security features built into the documents to enable the title clerk to determine whether the document is counterfeit or altered with the naked eye. States have, for the most part, complied with this requirement. The problem in the identification of documents is still with us because the title clerks have not been shown what the security features are and how to scrutinize the documents for originals. As a result, counterfeit and altered documents are flowing through the automotive industry and the State's D.M.V.'s unchallenged. The victims of title fraud, which includes odometer fraud, salvage fraud, bank fraud, insurance fraud and auto theft are so numerous the costs the victims suffer, both financially and in safety, are staggering. The thieves, who benefit from this crime, laugh at the victims, individuals, and automotive dealers, and tell them to “sue me.' Our criminal courts are burdened with violent crimes and find it hard to justify prosecution for economic crimes. The answer is Ron Wedekind Seminars. We have to protect ourselves since we cannot rely of other to protect our best interests. The States have too many mandates to give the time to protect the consumer and the automotive industry.

“The case of the month is Davco Construction Co., Inc V.
